Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at 16.00 WITA there was moderate-high intensity rain and rainwater was sent from the mountains in the upstream damit area, Batu Ampar District

➢ Location:
● Jorong District
- Asam-asam Village

➢ Casualties:
● ±244 families affected

➢ Material Losses:
● 244 houses submerged

➢ Efforts:
● Tanah Laut Regency BPBD monitors and coordinates with local village heads

➢ Current Conditions:
● The initial water level began to rise in the afternoon, at 16.00 WITA (Wednesday, 7/8/2024) at 300 cm. Then re-cross-checked at 22.00 WITA the Water Level increased to 340 cm.
● (Thursday, 8/8/2024) At 08.30 WITA the TMA increased again (Water Level ±365 cm).
● For the conditions of residents affected in the village, residents are on standby under the coordination of KSB (Disaster Preparedness Village)
