Description
Surakarta City, Central Java, on Thursday (3/4), with water levels reaching 30 to 150 centimeters. At least 138 families in three sub-districts in Banjarsari District were affected, while 24 other people were displaced and have returned after the water gradually receded.
Responding to the disaster, the Surakarta City BPBD has distributed logistical assistance to affected residents and carried out emergency response efforts by conducting rapid assessments and storing water with mobile pumps, establishing public kitchens, and cleaning the affected areas.
