Tidal floods hit due to high sea waves, on Wednesday (2/4) submerged two villages in two sub-districts, namely Kabau Village, West Sulabesi Sub-district and Manaf Village, North Sanana Sub-district. A total of 80 families were affected by this incident.
In order to respond to the incident, the local BPBD has deployed a Rapid Response Team to the location to conduct evacuation and rapid assessment. In addition, aid has also been distributed in the form of mattresses, blankets, baby supplies, and ready-to-eat food. Until the report was published on Friday (4/4) the tidal flood had not receded.
