Indonesia, Flooding in Subulussalam (Aceh)

➢ Chronology: Triggered by high intensity rainfall that continuously hit Subulussalam City, causing the Lae Souraya River in Jabi-jabi, Sigrun and Suka Maju Villages in Sultan Daulat District, Subulussalam City to overflow with water of around 30 cm - 150 m. The flood also submerged the Subulussalam-Tapaktuan national road, disrupting mobility. Thursday, October 10, 2024 PKl. 06.00 WIB

➢ Efforts:
● Monitoring and recording residents
● Monitoring flood water discharge
● Coordinating with the Apparatus Village and Related Agencies
● Keep TRC Personnel on standby at the location.
● Provide assistance during the panic period and set up a public kitchen

➢ Current Condition:
● Currently, water is still inundating residents' settlements and submerging village roads and water is still submerging the Subulussalam-Tapaktuan national road
