Flood in South Ogan Komering Ulu
➢ Chronological : Triggered by rain with high intensity this afternoon until night so that the water of the Kisau River overflowed and resulted in a flood reaching a height of more than one meter on Saturday, 22 April 2023 Pkl.00:30 WIB
➢ Location :
Kecamatan Muara dua
● Ds. Mehanggin
● Ds. Sawah Lebar
➢ Casualties :
● ±87 families / 348 people affected
➢ Material Loss :
● 87 houses submerged
● 2-3 tons of paddy were flooded and damaged in Sawah Lebar village.
● 2.5 tons of rice (65 sacks of rice) washed away by the flood in the village Mehanggin
● Village access road submerged by a flood of approximately one meter
➢ Efforts :
● The BPBD Response Team for OKU SELATAN Regency is coordinating
with local residents and village officials to record impacts –
the impact of the Flood
➢ Urgent Need :
● Inflatable boats
● Food logistics
➢ Current Condition :
● Currently the Flood has receded
