SOLOK - Floods soaked at least 13 villages in Solok City, West Sumatra, Monday (17/2). The flood was triggered by high rainfall that flushed Solok City and Solok Regency in Batang Lembang and Batang Gawan at 21.00 WIB. The data of the affected villages include; KTK Kelurahan, Kelurahan IX Korong, Kelurahan IV Suku, Kelurahan Simp Rumbio, Kelurahan Sinapa, Kelurahan Aro IV Korong, Kelurahan Tanah Garam in Lubuk Sikarah Subdistrict. Then Nan Balimo Village, PPA Village, Tanjung Paku Village, Laiang Village, Kampung Jawa Village, Koto Panjang Village in Tanjung Harapan Subdistrict. Data collected by the Rapid Reaction Team (TRC) of the Solok City Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), as many as 320 families / 1251 people were affected by the flood. Solok City BPBD together with the joint team has conducted further evacuation and data collection to calculate losses and other data needed.
