Flood in Kab. Siak, Prov. Riau
Chronology:
• Due to high intensity rainfall that occurred since Thursday, April 22, 2021, causing flooding on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 16.00 WIB
Location:
• Kec. Mandau River, Kp. Muara Kelantan
Fatalities :
• 59 HHs affected (± 40 HH were displaced)
Material Disadvantages:
• ± 59 housing units were submerged
• ± 100 Ha of submerged rice fields
• TMA 20 - 50 cm
Effort :
• BPBD Kab. Siak coordinates with TNI-Polri, BPBD Prov. Riau as well as the District and the local community to collect data
• BPBD Kab. Siak set up and alert refugee tents and fiber boats
• BPBD Kab. Siak appealed to the local community to be aware that the water would rise again in case of rain
• Providing logistical assistance by the Social Service and District BPBD. Siak
