Extreme weather caused heavy rain to fall resulting in floods that inundated parts of Pidie Jaya Regency as high as ± 50 cm, which occurred on Friday 09 August 2024 at 21.00 WIB
➢ Location:
● District Bandar Dua
- Gampong Alue Ketapang
- Gampong Babah Krueng
➢ Casualties:
● 70 families affected
➢ Material losses:
● ±70 houses submerged, with details as follows:
- Gampong Alue Ketapang: 40 units
- Gampong Babah Krueng: 30 units
➢ Efforts:
● Pidie Jaya Regency BPBD officers carried out data collection and surveys at flood locations.
➢ Current Conditions:
● Still raining with light intensity.
● Water has receded.
