Early Warning:
• Effective November 11, 2021, at 07.00 WIB until November 12, 2021, at 07.00 WIB, which has the potential to cause heavy rains for the impact of Floods/Bands to occur in the Prov. Central Kalimantan with alert status (signature.bmkg.go.id)

Preparedness:
• BPBD Prov. Central Kalimantan forwards the early warning information on the potential for rain to the Regency/City BPBD to be forwarded to relevant parties in the Regency/City and the community to be alert to the threat of Hydrometeorological disasters.

Chronology :
• Triggered by high intensity rain in the Palangkaraya City area on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 10.00 WIB

Fatalities :
• 8,858 households / 31,047 people affected
• 1,806 families / 6,110 people evacuated

Material Losses:
• 10,950 housing units affected
• 14 Fasdik units affected
• 2 units of affected village office
• 28 units of places of worship affected
• 10 affected public facilities
• 1 unit of affected health facilities
• TDC 60 - 100 cm

Effort :
• BPBD of Palangka Raya City conducts monitoring and data collection
• Establishment of refugee tents
• Provide a place for health services
• Distribution of aid to affected communities
• Evacuating the community, goods and livestock belonging to the affected community.
• Establishment of a communal kitchen
• Participate in the Coordination Meeting on Flood Disaster Management in the Central Kalimantan region in 2021

Status :
• Decree of the Mayor of Palangka Raya Number 188.45/245/2021 concerning the Determination of the Flood Disaster Emergency Alert Status in the City of Palangka Raya in 2021 on September 13, 2021.
• Decree of the Mayor of Palangka Raya Number 188.45/345/2021 concerning the Determination of the Status of Emergency Response to Flood Disasters in the City of Palangka Raya in 2021 on November 12, 2021.

Up-to-date Condition:
• The head of BNPB and his entourage visited the location and provided logistical assistance and equipment to the affected victims
• Floods have decreased by approximately 5 - 100 cm
• Some residents are still evacuating and some are staying at home
