457 people were affected by flooding in Bukit Subur Village, Penajam District, North Penajam Paser Regency on Sunday (20/4) at 21.30 local time.
The flood, which was 50 to 200 centimeters high, submerged 141 houses, 3 places of worship, and 2 health facilities. Despite the impact, some residents chose to remain in their homes.
BPBD Penajam Paser Utara Regency coordinated with related parties to conduct evacuation and record losses.
As of Monday (21/4) at 07.00 WIB, the flood was reported to be gradually receding.
