Chronology :
• High intensity rain and river silting which causes the overflow of the Rongkong River
• Time of occurrence on Friday, 09 July 2021, 06.15 WITA.

Kec. Baebunta Selatan

Fatalities :
• 515 households / ± 2,060 people affected

Material Losses:
• 515 Housing Units submerged
• 12 units of houses of worship affected
• 11 units of Educational Facilities affected
• 7 units of Social Facilities affected
• ± 705 Ha Rice fields and plantations affected
• Flood depth 30-100 Cm

Effort:
• BPBD TRC has conducted a Rapid Assessment and Coordinated with the Village government and local communities to continue to monitor the development of the water level in the location.
• District BPBD Pusdalops officers. North Luwu coordinates with the Prov. BPBD Pusdalops. South Sulawesi

• There are still some spots that are flooded
• Flood depth in Roads and Housing ± 20-30 cm
• Flood depth in rice fields and plantations ± 70-100 cm
• BPBD Requires ± 5 Units of Rubber Boats
