Indonesia, Flooding in Murung Raya (Central Kalimantan)

In Central Kalimantan, the overflowing of the Gula River, Kohong River, Tuhup River and Laung River in Permata Intan, Laung Tuhup and Barito Tuhup Raya Districts caused flooding in residents' homes and public facilities.



This incident affected 194 families/320 people. A temporary rapid assessment by the Murung Raya Regency BPBD recorded material losses in the form of 180 houses, two religious facilities, and one educational facility.



Until now, it has been observed that the water level has not receded with the water level varying between 35-150 centimeters.
