➢ Chronology: Triggered by high intensity rain causing the Laa River and Matang Karono River to overflow into residential areas on Sunday 14 April 2024 at 07:00 WITA

➢ Location:
West Petasia District
• Onepute Village
• Sampalowo Village
• Togo Mulya Village
• Moleono Village
• Ululaa Village

➢ Casualties:
• ±289 families / 521 people affected
• 4 families / 12 people displaced

➢ Material Losses:
• 289 housing units were submerged
• 1 unit of educational facility submerged
• 1 unit of worship facility was submerged
• 1 Traditional Market Unit submerged
• 175 Hectares of rice fields were submerged
• 33.3 Hectares of Agricultural land was submerged
• 39.5 Hectares of oil palm plantation land was submerged
• 5 Hectares of cocoa plantations submerged
• 135 poultry flocks were submerged

➢ Efforts: North Morowali Regency BPBD took actions including;
• Coordinate with Village Officials
• Coordinate with related SKPD
• Conduct assessments

➢ Current Conditions:
• The flood has not yet receded
