➢ Chronology: on Sunday, October 13, 2024 at around 07.00 WIB due to heavy rain that poured on Siabu District and its surroundings, the discharge of the Aek Batang Gadis River increased, causing the river water to overflow into residential areas and agricultural land.

➢ Location:
● Siabu District
- Muara Batang Angkola Village
- Tanjung Sialang Village
- Hutagodang Muda Village

➢ Casualties:
● 34 families affected

➢ Material Losses:
● 34 houses affected
● ± 355 hectares of agricultural and plantation land affected
● 1 road in Muara Batang Angkola village was affected along ± 500 meters.

- Muara Batang Angkola Village: 11 houses affected, ± 20 hectares of agricultural land affected, and 1 village road of Muara Batang Angkola affected along ± 500 meters.
- Tanjung Sialang Village: 23 houses affected, and ± 45 hectares of agricultural land affected
- Hutagodang Muda Village: ± 290 hectares of agricultural and plantation land affected

➢ Efforts:
● BPBD Mandailing Natal Regency coordinated with the Village Head, Sub-district Head, and related agencies.
● BPBD Mandailing Natal Regency personnel went to the location of the incident to conduct a rapid assessment.
● Some BPBD Mandailing Natal Regency personnel are on standby at the BPBD Mandailing Natal Regency office to receive the latest information on the incident.

➢ Current Condition:
● The BPBD Mandailing Natal Regency Task Force Team has arrived at the location of the incident.
● The current overflowing condition of the Batang Gadis River is starting to rise.

● The Rapid Reaction Team - PB BPBD Mandailing Natal Regency has conducted a rapid assessment and coordination with the Village Head.

● The road to Muara Batang Angkola Village is paralyzed along ± 500 meters due to the large puddle of water as high as ± 1 meter.
