Chronology: Due to high and gradual rainfall on Sunday, May 16, 2021 Pkl. 09:00 AM local time, causing the Furu, Kinaye & Mentarang Hulu rivers to overflow

4 Diesel drum units belonging to the tower were washed away
1 unit of house RR (kitchen mess housing teachers)
TMA reaches ± 30-200 cm

BPBD Kab. Malinau coordinates with DESTANA and the District / Village Government to collect data and monitor water discharge / TMA
BPBD Kab. Malinau appealed to the public to be more vigilant
BPBD Kab. Malinau helps local residents make pungkau (para-para) to evacuate the belongings of the affected residents
If the impact of the Flood is getting wider, it will be proposed to the District Government. Malinau through the District BPBD to determine the Flood Disaster Emergency status

The water has started to recede
For communication, the Telkomsel provider network is disconnected, while the 24-hour Indosat Provider network is active
Some of the affected residents were evacuated to the Church Building (Ds. Lung Simau) and Gd. Lung Barang Junior High School
