➢ Chronology: There has been a flood disaster caused by high intensity rain, overflowing water from the Cipelang River and shipments from Conggeang, Sumedang Regency, resulting in several houses being affected and traffic flow being disrupted in the Wesel block in Pakubeureum Village, Kertajati District, on Sunday 11 February 2024 at 17.30 WIB

● Kertajati District
- Palasah Village
- Pakubeureum Village
- Kertawinangun Village
- Kertajati Village
- Bantarjati Village
- Babakan Village

➢ Casualties:
● ± 1,923 families/5,641 people affected

➢ Material Losses:
● 1,631 housing units were affected by flooding
● 7 educational facilities affected
● 7 units of worship facilities were affected
● 715 Hectares of agricultural land affected
● Traffic flow at the Kertajati Toll Exit is disrupted
● water level ± 20 – 80 cm

➢ Effort:
● BPBD Majalengka, TNI, Polri, Pol PP Damkar, District, Village Officials and Volunteers Conducted Assessments at the BPBD Majalengka Location and Validated Data.
● Determination of Flood Emergency Response Status in Kertajati District Number 100.3.3.2/KEP.163-BPBD/2024 from 12 February to 25 February 2024 (12 days)
● Establishment of a Command Post for Flood Disaster Emergency Response Status in Kertajati District Number 100.3.3.2/KEP.164-BPBD/2024 starting from 12 February to 25 February 2024.

● Rainy weather is currently monitored as rain with light intensity
● The flood is gradually receding
