Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi Province.
Heavy rain that hit the upstream areas of the river in Suli Barat District and Suli District caused flooding on Sunday (13/4). At least six villages from the two districts were submerged in floods with water levels reaching 50 to 150 centimeters.
As a result of this incident, as many as 800 Heads of Families (KK) were affected and caused material losses of 800 units of residents' houses, and several units of educational facilities, health, education and provincial main roads were submerged in floods. In response to the disaster, the Luwu Regency BPBD has made handling and coordination efforts to respond to the incident.
