➢ Chronology: On Tuesday, 24 February 2026, at 13:00 WITA, flooding occurred in East Lombok Regency due to moderate to heavy rainfall accompanied by strong winds. The event was influenced by the active Madden–Julian Oscillation (MJO), Kelvin waves, and Low Frequency waves over West Nusa Tenggara Province, as well as wind convergence and deceleration around the province and relatively high moisture content across various atmospheric layers.
