➢ Chronology: On Thursday, 26 February 2026, heavy rainfall occurred in the Central Lombok Regency area at around 06:30 WITA, resulting in flooding. The event was influenced by the active MJO, Kelvin, and Low Frequency waves over the West Nusa Tenggara region, as well as wind convergence and reduced wind speed around the area. In addition, relatively high moisture levels were present at various atmospheric layers.
