Description
Chronology: On Friday, 9 January 2026, continuous moderate to heavy rainfall occurred from 13:00 WITA to 15:00 WITA, causing river water levels to overflow into residential areas. In addition, large volumes of runoff from upstream mountainous areas further exacerbated the situation.
