LANDAK - Floods submerged three hamlets in two villages after the Adong River overflowed because water debit continued to rise after heavy intensity of rain flushed Jelimpo District, Landak Regency, West Kalimantan since Tuesday (25/2) at 18.00 WIB until Wednesday (26/2) 01.00 WIB. Data compiled by the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPB) of Landak Regency, the area affected by the flood included Karangan Mas Hamlet and Adong 1 Hamlet in Tubang Raeng Village, then Adong 2 Hamlet in Pawis Hilir Village. At least 93 houses were submerged and 103 households / 340 people were affected by flooding with water levels ranging from 10 - 100 centimeters. Besides the flooding also caused an Abutman concrete bridge to be cut off. Currently the Landak Regency BPBD team monitors the affected areas and prepares logistics for affected residents.
