The highest flood is in Luwuk Sampun Village with a height of up to 1 meter. The cause of flooding in some of the villages is thought to be from the overflow of the Mentaya river due to heavy rains upstream. High rainfall in the last few days also made the access road connecting between Parenggean District, Mentaya Hulu, to Antang Kalang, East Kotawaringin Regency (Kotim), suffered quite severe damage. Roads can hardly be crossed by the community. The road at Km 19 is also totally cut off. As a result, residents activities were disrupted and transportation access was totally paralyzed. In addition to being aware of the Covid-19 outbreak and natural disasters such as floods, the community is also advised to be on the lookout for a disease that is growing rapidly in the rainy season, namely Dengeu Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF)
