➢ Chronology: Triggered by high intensity rain accompanied by high tides resulting in the overflow of several rivers and the breakdown of water retaining embankments on Saturday 20 January 2024 at 16.30 WITA

● 1,263 families affected

➢ Material Losses:
● 1,263 housing units affected
● 3 mosque units were affected
● 50 Ha of rice fields affected
● 30 Ha of plantations affected
● TDC 50 - 300 cm

➢ Effort:
● Kolaka Regency BPBD coordinates with the local government and carries out an assessment
● Kolaka Regency BPBD helps clean houses
affected by flooding and prepare clean water.

➢ Current Conditions:
● the flood has receded
