Description
The overflow of Telawang river, due to the high rainfall intensity, has caused flooding in Jember City, East Java Province. The Disaster Management Authority of Jember (BPDB) reported that flood had submerged 1,620 houses and several hectares of paddy fields. Consequently, 1,620 families were affected by the incident. Responding to the situation, the BPBD conducted damage assessment and evacuated the flood victims.
