Description

➢ Chronology:
Triggered by high rainfall intensity on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 09:30 WIT, causing the water discharge of the Akejira River, Saloi River flowing into the Kobe River to rise and inundate settlements along the river basin

➢ Location:
● Weda Tengah District
- Lukulamo Village
- Kulo Jaya Village
- Woejerana Village
- Woekob Village
● Weda Utara District
- Sagea Village
- Kiya Village

➢ Casualties:
- ± 1,020 people affected (data collection)
- 29 families / 96 people displaced (data collection)

➢ Material Losses:
- 3 access roads affected

➢ Efforts:
● BPBD Halmahera Tengah Regency conducted a rapid assessment and coordinated with related agencies
● BPBD Halmahera Tengah Regency forwarded the Warning information Dini via social media.

➢ Urgent Needs:
- Ready-to-eat food
- Basic necessities
- Blankets
- Medicines
- Baby needs
- Tarpaulin

➢ Current Condition:
● Until now the water level at several points is ± 30 - ± 50 M
● Road access to 3 (three) villages is still inaccessible
