Due to the high intensity rain, the Gido Sebua River and Bakaru River overflowed on Sunday, September 17 2023, Pkl. 06.15 WIB
➢ Location:
● Kec. Gunung Sitoli Idanol
● Ds. Siwalubanua I
● Ds. Treehouse I
● Ds. Hiliweto
➢ Casualties:
● 1 person
● 415 families / 1,870 people affected
➢ Material Losses:
● ± 415 housing units affected
● TMA 60 - 100 Cm
➢ Effort:
● Evacuating residents trapped in the flood and searching for children who were swept away by the flood currents by the TRC BPBD Gunungsitoli Team together with BASARNAS Nias, TNI/POLRI and communities along the Bakaru River.
● Gunung Sitoli City BPBD together with related agencies established a public kitchen
➢ Current Conditions:
The water began to gradually recede starting at 19.30 WIB evening.
