Chronological:
• Due to the high intensity rain that occurred since Sunday, August 2, 2020, the overflowing of the Baliyohuto Kiki River and Paguyaman River
• The peak of the flood occurred on Monday, August 3, 2020, at 11:00 WITA
Location: Kab. Gorontalo
Kec. Bolivianohuto
Kec. Bilato
Kec. Asparaga
Fatalities :
• 563 HH / 1,866 Affected souls
• There are victims displaced in relatives / family homes and village halls (Data Collection)
Material Losses:
• ± 563 houses submerged (Data Collection)
• 1 accommodation unit affected
• 100 - 200 cm TMA
Effort :
• TRC BPBD Kab. Gorontalo conducted rapid assessments, coordinated with relevant agencies (Basarnas, TNI / Polri, Health Office, Social Service, Subdistricts, Villages and volunteers), and together with the Joint Team conducted evacuation of victims.
• BPBD Kab. Gorontalo together with the joint team has now distributed Logistics in the form of fast food to flood victims.
Current Conditions:
• Currently, Pkl. 21:00 WIB, sunny weather and flooding still survive with a height of 100-200 cm
• Flooding still persists due to the upstream area of ​​the river.
Obstacles in the field:
• There are people who do not want to be evacuated (stay at home)
• There are several access points that cannot be traversed because they are flooded
