Indonesia, Flooding in Deli Serdang (North Sumatra)

➢ Chronology: High rainfall on Friday, October 11, 2024 at around 00.30 WIB, has resulted in an overflow flood in the Serauai river flow towards the Patumbak Permai Villa housing complex, Patumbak Village, Kampung with a water discharge reaching ± 80-100 cm, Friday, October 11, 2024 at 00.30 WIB

➢ Location:
● Patumbak District
- Patumbak Village, Kampung

➢ Casualties:
● 150 families / 562 people affected

➢ Material losses:
● 150 houses affected
● Water level ± 80- 100 CM

➢ Efforts:
● Coordination with the Patumbak Sub-district Secretary
● Coordination with the Head of Hamlet VI of the Village Patumbak Kampung
● Coordination with Babinsa
● Community around the location of the incident

➢ Current Condition:
● The flood has now receded and the community can carry out their activities as usual.
● The dismantling of the refugee shelter tents by the Deli Serdang BPBD TRC TEAM has been completed and the public kitchen has been closed.
