Description
On Monday, 5 January 2025, at 16:30 WIB, prolonged heavy rainfall across upstream areas (Kuningan), Cirebon Regency, and Cirebon City caused the Kali Lunyu River and the Cikalong River to overflow. The flooding affected several villages in Cirebon Regency, including Pamengkang, Banjarwangunan, Suci, and Mundu Pesisir. Contributing factors included river sedimentation, limited water infiltration, and poor drainage, resulting in floodwaters entering residential areas.
