Description
High intensity of rainfall that occurred on Friday, 10 July 2020, triggered Way Apu River, Way Leman River and Way Geren River overflowed and caused flooding in three Sub-Districts in Buru, Maluku. Current conditions on Wednesday, July 22, 2020, 18:45 (GMT +7) cloudy weather seen above Buru Regency. Heavy rain is still expected. Flood gradually recede at some areas, but there are still locations inundated by 50-100 cm. The following are the affected areas: 1. Waelapo Sub-District 2. Lolong Guba Sub-District 3. Waelata Sub-District BPBD Buru Regency is performing rapid assessment , evacuate the affected people, and coordinate with the local authorities. BPBD has distributed blankets and tarpaulins. The immediate needs are the following: 1. Tarpaulins/Tent 2. Meals ready-to-eat 3. Weaning Food 4. Cooking utensitls 5. Blankets 6. WASH
