Floods in Kab. Bogor, Prov. West Java

Chronology:
• Due to prolonged high intensity rain and malfunctioning water gates in the Ciapus River dam, the river overflows.
• Floods occurred on Wednesday, 19 May 2021 at Pkl. 19.30 WIB

Location:
Kec. Ciomas
Ds. Laladon
Kec. Dramaga
Ds. Ciherang

Fatalities :
• 169 families / 619 people affected

Material loss:
• 18 units of RR houses
• 151 housing units affected
• 1 mosque unit affected
• The embankment of the Ciapus river is leaking
• The road is flooded
• TMA 30-40 cm

Effort :
• BPBD Kab. Bogor collects data and coordinates with related parties and performs analysis

Latest condition:
• Currently, several houses are still submerged in Ds. Laladon with a water level of 30-40 cm and there are several residents who fled to the house of a higher relative
• Floods in Ds. Ciherang has receded and residents are still cleaning up after the flood
