➢ Chronology: Extreme weather caused heavy rain on Friday, August 9, 2024 at 20.30 WIB, resulting in flooding that inundated parts of Bireuen Regency to a height of ± 5 – 50 cm. Meanwhile, strong winds caused a tree to fall on Dayah Tauthiatul Ukhuwah in Gampong Cot Ijue, causing severe damage (RB)

➢ Location:
● Jeunieb District (Flood)
- Meunasah Village Ketapang
- Janggot Village Seungkoe
● Peusangan District (strong wind)
- Cot ijue Village

➢ Casualties: 28 families/508 people affected, details as follows:
● Jeunie District
- Meunasah Village Ketapang: 128 families/508 people

➢ Material Losses:
● ±128 houses submerged, with details as follows:
Jeunie District
- Meunasah Village Ketapang: 128 Units
● 1 Educational Facility Unit Severely Damaged, details as follows:

District Peusangan
- Gampung Cot Ijue: 1 Fasdik Unit, Dayah Tauthiatul Ukhuwah, Severely Damaged

➢ Efforts:
● BPBD Bireuen Regency officers monitor, coordinate, and clean up at the flood location.

➢ Current Condition:
● Water begins to recede
● Traffic returns to normal
