TELUK BINTUNI - Chief Executive of the West Papua Province BPBD, Derek Ampnir reported flooding in Idoor Village, Wamesa District, Teluk Bintuni Regency, West Papua Province. Floods occur Saturday, March 7, 2020 Pkl. 10:00 WIT. At 13.00 West Indonesian Time, the Center for Emergency Response and BNPB confirmed the flood level was between 30-50 cm and the water was still not receding. The BPBD Rapid Response Team (TRC) of the Bintuni Bay Regency is currently conducting data collection and field assessments. Temporary data of 50 families / 150 people affected. Some people fled temporarily to the homes of relatives or relatives who were not affected by the flood, whose house position was higher. Usually will return to the house when the water has receded.
