In West Nusa Tenggara, specifically Bima Regency, flooding was reported after being triggered by heavy rainfall on Friday (March 20) at around 2:20 p.m. WITA (Central Indonesian Time). The affected areas include Rada Village and Nggembe Village in Bolo District, as well as Bre Village and Kananta Village in Palibelo District.
The incident affected 1,009 people from 287 families. The Bima Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) also reported material losses, including 260 submerged homes, three educational facilities, and the destruction of agricultural land and village roads.
In response to this disaster, the Bima Regency BPBD together with related agencies have carried out emergency response at the affected locations such as evacuating flood-affected residents, providing logistical assistance to residents, and conducting searches and data collection at the affected locations.
