On Wednesday, 19 November 2025 at 12:48 WITA, weather conditions in Bima City were generally cloudy. However, in the upstream eastern area of Bima City (Wawo District, Bima Regency), moderate to heavy rainfall occurred. The high rainfall intensity caused the water level of the Lampe River to rise at 14:28 WITA, although monitoring instruments installed by BPBD Bima City indicated that the situation was still within safe limits.
The sudden rise in water level resulted in a 70-year-old man named Awahab being swept away while he was carrying out activities near the Kumbe River (urinating).

On Friday, 21 November 2025 at 14:15 WITA, flooding occurred in Kore Village, Sanggar District, Bima Regency. Heavy runoff from the surrounding mountains caused a rise in the river’s water level in Kore Village, leading to the river overflowing and inundating residential areas, main roads, and agricultural land in the village.
