Description
As the disaster situation continues to evolve in various regions, **heavy rainfall** has also affected **Aceh Barat Daya Regency, Aceh Province**, since the **afternoon of Tuesday (March 4)**. As a result, flooding has impacted **eight districts**, submerging **33 villages**. Water levels vary between **20 to 50 cm**, disrupting residents' daily activities and affecting several public facilities.
At least **168 households** across the following **eight districts** have been impacted:
- **Kuala Batee**
- **Blangpidie**
- **Jeumpa**
- **Susoh**
- **Manggeng**
- **Lembah Sabil**
- **Babahrot**
- **Tangan-Tangan**
In addition to inundating residential areas, the flood has also affected **educational facilities, one mosque, and disrupted access to the national road network**. The extent of damage to agricultural land is still being assessed.
In response, the **Rapid Response Team (TRC) of the Aceh Barat Daya BPBD** has been conducting monitoring and data collection in affected areas. Other agencies, including **Fire and Rescue Services, the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), the National Police (Polri), and local communities**, are actively involved in initial disaster response efforts.
However, teams on the ground are facing challenges, including **the widespread affected areas, limited operational vehicles, and road access disruptions due to flooding**.
