Description
The overflowing Manau River caused residential areas to be submerged in floodwaters as high as one meter on Saturday (5/4) early morning local time. The Manau River in Muara Enim Regency, South Sumatra, overflowed after heavy rain hit the area.
It was recorded that 93 houses belonging to 93 heads of families in Babat Village, Belida Darat District were submerged in floodwaters and one educational facility was also submerged.
Since yesterday, the Muara Enim Regency BPBD has been at the affected location to carry out handling steps, such as conducting data collection and rapid assessments, as well as being on standby at the location because flooding is still occurring.
