Description
Floods and landslides struck 18 sub-districts in Sukabumi Regency, West Java, on Thursday (March 6). According to reports from BNPB, the disaster affected 120 houses, with 5 severely damaged and 5 moderately damaged, as well as 12 public facilities impacted.
The landslide resulted in one fatality, while seven people remain missing. Preliminary data indicates that 116 households (204 individuals) have been affected, with 31 households (159 individuals) displaced in Ciemas District.
As of today, Friday (March 7), BPBD continues search and rescue efforts for missing persons and is updating the assessment of the flood and landslide impact.
