Triggered by high intensity rainfall, the Tondano watershed overflowed, causing flooding and landslides on Friday, January 27 2023, at 11:00 p.m. 06:00 WITA.
Manado City BPBD coordinates with related parties to carry out evacuation, data collection and handling. Urgent Needs: Mattresses, blankets, clothes, underwear, family kits & ready-to-eat food.
The Mayor of Manado has established a State of Emergency for Flood and Landslide Disaster Management in Manado City based on decree number: 27/KEP/B06/BPBD/2023 for 7 days TMT 27 January to 02 February 2023. The team is still carrying out the evacuation. Up to now, data collection is still being carried out and will be updated once there is a data update. Sam Ratulangi International Airport, condition is safe under control.
