• High intensity rain caused the overflow of the Tarowang River which occurred on Thursday, July 8, 2021, at Pkl. 02.00 WITA

Fatalities :
• displaced people (data collection)
• ± 115 HHs affected

Material Losses
• ± 115 housing units affected
• 26 housing units RB
• 81 housing units RR
• 5 public health units affected
• plantation land and agricultural land affected (data collection)
• Flood depth 50-200 cm

Effort :
• BPBD Kab. Jeneponto conducted a rapid assessment, coordinated with relevant agencies and together with a joint team evacuated victims
• BPBD together with a joint team opened a public kitchen and distributed clean water

Up-to-date Condition:
• The weather is cloudy and the flood has receded
• there is 1 village with a blackout

Urgent needs :
• Clean water, family kits, food logistics, blankets and mattresses

Obstacles in the Field:
• Limited facilities and infrastructure for BPBD and personnel in handling flood disasters bencana
