Flood occurred in Tebing Tinggi, North Sumatra Province. The incident was triggered by the heavy rainfal over the last days. Meanwhile, flood has been widely affected Langkat‘ area since 13 January 2015. Five (5) subdistrict in Langkat were inundated, namely Tanjungpura, Sawit, Batang Serangan, Hinai, Wampu and Simalungun district. IMPACT - 700 houses in Padang Hulu subdistrict were submerged - 7,178 families were affected in Langkat - over 557 ha of agriculture area were inundated RESPONSE - BPBD Tebing Tinggi and Langkat conducted evacuation and distributed relief items
