Description
The high intensity of rainfall has caused flooding in Samarinda City, East Kalimantan Province. Several villages in three sub-districts in Samarinda were inundated by the flood. The Disaster Management Agency of Samarinda (BPBD) had to evacuate and serve 2,000 evacuees in the evacuation centres. The flood has affected about 15,000 people and submerged 6,000 houses.
