Description
Flood incident was reported by the BPBD of Pangkalpinang City, Bangka Belitung Islands Province. Heavy rain caused flooding in the lowlands and waterlogging in the Pangkalpinang City area to submerge residential areas on Monday (21/4) at 13.00 WIB. Officers recorded that 447 families were affected, spread across 12 sub-districts in seven districts. The seven affected districts include Gerunggang, Girimaya, Gabek, Bukit Intan, Taman Sari, Pangkal Balam and Rangkui Districts. Based on monitoring by officers in the field, until Monday night the flood conditions in some affected locations gradually receded with an average water level of 15 - 40 cm, but the water levels rose again at 19.00 WIB due to the influence of high tides.
