Heavy rainfall on 22 March 2016 has caused flooding in Padang , West Sumatera Province and affected 3 subdistricts which are . The flood has inundated numbers of houses, damaged 2 bridges and also caused 2 people dead. IMPACT - 11.500 houses innudated (est.). - Water level of the flooding 1-1.2 m. - There are 2 bridges were damaged in Pasia Nan Tigo and Bungus Timbalun VIllage. - 1 people dead and 1 missing. RESPONSE - The local government assessed the damage and provided assistance to the victims. - Local Agency For Disaster Management (BPBD) established evacuation centre at 5 locations.
