Description
National Disaster Management Authority (BNPB) reported serious flooding in East Bolaang Mongodow Regency, North Sulawesi, on 23 April 2018, 15.00 UTC+8. Heavy rainfall has caused Nuangan River overflow. Three villages in Nuangan District were affected, i.e. Nuangan I, Nuangan Induk and Nuangan Selatan. On average, the flood depth was around 100-200 cm in those villages. In total, 135 houses were inundated with the following breakdown: 1) 75 houses inundated in Nuangan I Village 2) 30 houses inundated in Nuangan Induk Village 3) 30 houses inundated in Nuangan Selatan Village. Local disaster management agency (BPBD) were immediately assess the situation and provide emergency assistance.
