Description
Flood has occurred in Bandung Regency due to heavy rainfall from 22 February 2018 evening. Seven districts have been affected namely Baleenda, Dayeuhkolot, Bojongsoang, Majalaya, Paseh, Ibun and Solokan Jeruk. Landslides were also reported in Ibun and Kutawaringin. Flood depths were varied between 30 to 200 cm.
Local Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Bandung Regency reported 9,938 houses, 10 schools and 27 religious facilities were inundated. In total 29,814 people were affected. BPBD Bandung Regency coordinated the emergency response operations, with supports from Indonesian Armed Forces, Police, Satpol PP, Transporatation Agency, Basarnas and Volunteers. Food items,heavy machinery, boats, tents and mobile toilets have been deployed as well
