Torrential rain has caused Cibarengkok River in Garut to overflow. Consequently, water inundated 10 villages in Banjarwangi and Cikajang sub-district, Garut, Province of West Java. IMPACT - over 2,167 people were affected - 458 houses were damaged - 280 houses were submerged RESPONSE - Evacuation have been conducted by the local government - Relief items have been distributed to the affected communities
