Description
➢ Chronology:
As a result of high rainfall for 3 (three) consecutive days, since July 11, 2024, which poured over Tembagapura District and its surroundings, resulting in flooding and landslides in 4 villages, namely, Banti Satu Village, Dua Village, Opitawak Village, and Utikini Lama Village.
➢ Location :

- Utikini Lama Village
➢ Casualties :
Flood:
1,014 families / 3,265 people affected, with the following details:
- Waa Village (Banti Satu): 200 families / 1,000 people
- Banti Dua Village: 331 families / 1,125 people
- Opitawak Village: 483 families / 1,140 people
Landslide:
7 people died, with the following details:
- Utikini Lama Village: 7 people died,

➢ Efforts:
● Emergency Status (Emergency Declaration Letter: available, Decree: not yet available)
● The BPBD Rapid Reaction Team (TRC) and the Social Service (Tagana) conducted an assessment and coordinated with the village apparatus, the local district, and PT. Freeport Indonesia.
● The Social Service provided assistance in the form of food supplies to families of victims of natural disasters and landslides.
● The BNPB Team coordinated with the Mimika Regency BPBD.
