Description
Flood affected four districts in Aceh Province which were Nagan Raya, Aceh Selatan, Singkil and Simeuleu. Herewith the detail of the affected area: - Nagan Raya: Kuala Pesisir, Darul Makmur, Seunangan Timur, Paduraya, Bedung and Tripa Makmur municipality. - Aceh Selatan: Sawang, Kluet Tengah, Kluet Utara, Bhagia, Bakongan and Kluet Selatan Municipality. - Simeuleu: Simeleucut, Teluk Dalam, Salang, Teupah Selatan, Teupah Barat, Teupah Tengah, Simelue Barat and Simeuleu Timur municipality. - Singkil: Singkil and Kota Baharu municipality. IMPACT - 1 death - 14 house swept away PEOPLE AFFECTED Aceh Selatan: 7,070 people & 65 families Nagan Raya: 2,118 families Singkil: 6,000 families Simeleu: 1,186 families or 5,634 people RESPONSE - The Aceh Province‘ disaster management agency conducting emergency response due to the situation.
