Indonesia, Flood affected Gorontalo Province

Flood, due to the overflow of Bolango river and Limboto lake, affecting 5 (five) districts in Gorontalo Province, which are: Gorontalo city, Gorontalo, Bone Bolango, Gorontalo Utara and Pahuwato district. IMPACT - Total affected is 9,686 households (HH) or more than 46,960 people (P). - Total displaced person is 2,931. - more than 10,000 homes are inundated. The detail is as follows (municipality): - Hulontalangi 1,192 HH/4,445 P and 586 displaced. - Kota Selatan 3,254 HH/13,572 P and 254 displaced. - Kota Barat 2,442 HH/8,846 P and 1,199 displaced. - Kota Timur 811 HH/959 P. - Dungingi 413 HH/1,720 P and 581 displaced. - Kota Tengah 473 HH/1,367 P. - Sipatana 144 HH/454 P and 205 displaced. - Dumbo Raya 453 HH/1,266 P. - Bulango Utara 504 HH. - Tilango 1,941 HH/7,303 P and 106 displaced. - Talaga Jaya 512 HH/ 1,877 P. - Limboto Barat 314 HH/1,297 P. - Kec.Limboto 806 HH/2,978 P. - Kec.Tabongo 219 HH/876 P. RESPONSE - The Provincial Disaster Management Agency (BPBD Gorontalo) set up temporary shelters. - Relief items have been distributed. - Mobilisation of personnel and assets for SAR and emergency response operation.
